Martial Arts Championships, part of Sydney WorldPride, WorldPride Sports was held Feb 2023. In the spirit of building an LGBTIQA+global Martial Arts community, the SWPMA Championships offered a multi-style Martial Arts Tournament to promote sporting excellence in the Martial Arts, and development of Self Defence and Safety Skills.​

 

​The Tournament included Non-Contact Point Sparring, Self Defence categories, Forms, Weapon forms, performance opportunities, workshops from overseas guests and more.

​

The event was a success. We thank all of our participants, spectators, World Pride, and the NSW government.
