About GLMA

GLMA/Newtown Martial Arts Has Grown out of Self Defence Workshops run for Women ,Children, Corporate , University, LGBTI ,Government,Council groups who have done short term courses  and wanted to move on to study a martial art. We advise that people do a 4 week course wth us first to see if they like the mixture of different skills we teach and if you want to persue a long term study  to get you to Black Belt Standard and beyond. We participate in mainstream  martial arts

competition as well as The Gay Games for students who are lgbti and allies who are club members
